Laura is the primary therapist at Counselling for Women, offering one-on-one virtual psychotherapy for women in Manitoba and in-person psychotherapy in Beausejour, Manitoba.
She brings a compassionate, open-minded approach to her work and believes that every person deserves to experience peace, connection, and self-acceptance — both within themselves and in their relationships. Laura is especially passionate about supporting women who feel stuck in old patterns and are seeking greater personal growth, healing, and freedom in their lives and relationships.
Laura also has a special interest in supporting helping professionals, including psychotherapists, social workers, and others in caring professions who are navigating the emotional demands of frontline work. She understands the importance of having a meaningful, confidential space to process the complexities of caregiving, burnout, and everyday life.
Laura is an Internal Famly Systems (IFS) Level 2–trained psychotherapist with more than 500 hours of ongoing learning, including specialized work in Disorganized Eating, Relational Care, and Chronic Pain. She is currently working toward IFS Certification. Laura is also trained in EMDR therapy and provides EMDR Therapy both virtually and in person.
